Michael Rosen is
a native of Miami, Florida. After graduating from the University of
Miami School of Law in 1974, Michael Rosen
began his career with the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the
Southern District of Florida. Thereafter, he spent twenty-five years
practicing with his father and business partner, E. David Rosen, specializing in Federal criminal law with emphasis in white collar
offenses. Michael Rosen works with Kym E. Bennette, of Kym
E. Bennette, P.A., who serves as of-counsel to the firm.Upon graduating
from Nova Southeastern University in 1993, Kym Bennette went into
private practice and associated with prominent criminal defense
attorneys where she practiced primarily in the field of federal criminal
defense litigation with an emphasis on bank fraud, trademark
counterfeiting, securities fraud, RICO and forfeiture. Ms.
Bennette was also involved in regulatory
matters before The Florida Department of Business and Professional
Regulation and The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration; state
and federal commercial litigation, specifically including economic
crimes, unfair and deceptive trade practices and related business torts.
In 2000, she began
to serve of counsel to the firm of Michael J. Rosen, P.A. where she
continues to practice in the field of federal criminal defense comprised
predominantly of white collar and business financial crimes, including
criminal tax matters, healthcare fraud, organized crime and RICO. Ms. Bennette is also involved in grand jury practice, search and seizure
law, pre-indictment representation and appellate work, including the
filing of habeas corpus petitions, through her current affiliation with
Mr. Rosen.
